The Jean Baptiste cigar from Black Star Line Cigars is a Chicago-inspired release that pays tribute to Jean Baptiste Point du Sable, widely recognized as the city’s first permanent settler. The cigar reflects both the brand’s roots and its mission to highlight Black history through premium cigars.  

 

Blended at the Aganorsa factory in Nicaragua, the Jean Baptiste features a Corojo 2012 wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and fillers, delivering a medium-to-full-bodied smoking experience. It comes in a 6 x 52 toro vitola and was initially released in limited quantities, adding to its appeal among collectors and enthusiasts.
